Retirement trip Sept-Oct

Terri and I did a cross country trip to visit family and just to enjoy the beauty of this country.

First we got to see our new Granddaughter Kyra Grace and Brother Kyle in Oklahoma.

I took my bike and got to ride in most of the states.

Cecil's Retirement Party

Terri and the kids through me a retirement party and it was great and had lots of friends from Work, Church, Bike club there. Pleanty of food (Pizza, Salid, cake and icecream). Lot's of visiting and memories.

Family Mexico cruise

My family all 10 of us had a great time on this cruise. The girls didn't miss a thing and Kyle is so grown up and loved making his choices known from the menu at dinning time. That was so neat as he reads so well. It was just great to be able to spend the week with all my Kids and most of my grandchildren.

Climb to Kaiser

Well on June 26th Bob, Mark and I joined about 285 other riders on this challenge and we completed it 155 miles in just under 14 hours. It was my most millage for a bike ride and the scenery was just great. Here are a few shots the lakes are Lake Shaver and Huntington up by Yosemite.

Retirement is here

Well I finally retired from Alcatel-Lucent after almost 38 years. It will take a while to get use to it, but I will make a galent try. Terri and took a quick trip to Oklahoma to see Paul, Angela and Kyle (almost 9 now). I got to help Paul with a few projects at the church. Then a trip to Edmond, Ok to see my Step Mother Melba (the only parent we have left) and then on to Guthrie to see 2 of my Aunts. Saw Aunt Viola (my Mothers older sister @ 90) and her two daughters for a couple of hours and then to a restraunt to see my Aunt Francis (my Dad's sister-in-law) and 4 of her 7 kids my cousins and a lot of there kids. My brother Hank and sister ReDonna and their spouses where there as well. Good time of food and visiting, but like all times it was just too short for so many to visit. Christmas eve

Had a great time with Family here at our house. lots of food and fun with newest family member Allison Cabalitan. Megan (almost 2 years) and Shelby (3 years) were really busy with all. Patty and I read the Birth of Christ story from Luke 2:1-20 (English and Spanish).
